Automatic login should now be working properly in College.
Recent evidence suggests that young people with a computer at home can get better grades when they use the computer effectively, BUT if it is used to waste time e.g. games socialising etc it will actually reduce grades.

FREE COMPUTER - but only for KS3 students whose parents qualify. Your parents should have recieved a parentmail or paper letter, telling them about Home Access and how to get a free grant. Make sure this letter goes home or you could miss out. To get an application form to get this grant parents need to ring capita on 03332 001004.For more details of Home Access click here ALSO- the College will be making available a small number of older computers that have Linux and OpenOffice installed, for students who have no access to computers at home.A letter will go home about this Parents should apply for these to Mr Wyles, setting out your case as to why you need one. If you need help with your Home Learning you should consult your teacher for that subject or the teacher who is in charge of that subject or Mrs Reep.
